New Website: Le Domaine

We can't believe it's been 10 years since we originally built the site le-domaine.fr. Back then JE3 was just 2 staff members and a work experience student (who went on to win the local student hackathon!). Originally, the site was built in WordPress, however, as is common in the WordPress ecosystem the theme went into end of life and was no longer supported.

Instead of just rolling out and adjusting a new theme we took our knowledge of modern web development tools and techniques to provide the most appropriate solution. Again, with significant student support, JE3 set about building a fully responsive and multi-lingual website. Using AstroJS and a headless content management system (CMS) to provide a blazingly fast website and easy content management, where the editor is completely isolated from code.
